Position Overview

Responsible for overall factory operations, ensuring production efficiency, product quality, safety, and cost control. Lead continuous improvement and team development to achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities & accountability:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the mill, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
• Manage and supervise the mill staff, including machine operators, maintenance workers, and office personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and implement production plans and schedules, ensuring that production goals are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Manage the mill's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing expenses, to ensure that the mill operates within budget and meets financial targets.
• Implement and maintain safety and sustainability policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility in the workplace.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and adapt the mill's operations as needed to remain competitive in the marketplace.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that the mill has the resources it needs to operate effectively.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as production rates, quality metrics, and financial performance, to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste, driving continuous improvement throughout the mill.
• Represent the mill in the local community, promoting the mill's values and contributing to the economic development of the region.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:
  Minimum of 10 years of of manufacturing experience. FMCG industry experience is preferred.
• Experience:
  Strong technical knowledge of tissue converting processes and machinery.
• Familiarity with local labor laws, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), and compliance standards.
• Communication Skills:
  Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Leadership:
  Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects. Self-motivated to succeed and develop others
• Language:
  Fluent in Mandarin with basic English proficiency
