About the role

As an Operations Specialist, you will take full ownership of business operations, working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders. You'll build strong, trust-based relationships with drivers, riders, and fleet partners while overseeing key operational metrics and forecasts. Your role will include analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources to identify opportunities and resolve issues. In addition, you'll define and execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth and operational excellence.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as the accountable bridge between Bolt and the drivers and fleets to ensure seamless operations. Collaborate with internal teams such as product and support to ensure alignment on strategic goals and operational execution.
• Operational excellence: Take ownership of projects that enhance overall market performance and operational efficiency, with a primary goal of elevating Bolt in Taiwan to the next level.
• Process management: Create, optimize, and even remove processes as needed. Efficiency is our priority; you will lead initiatives to improve workflows and solve complex operational challenges.
• Operations management: Autonomously manage the stages of both driver & rider acquisition, conversion, activation, and retention. Proactively solve issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Data-driven decision-making: Analyze market trends and fleet performance metrics to guide strategic decisions, identify growth opportunities, and implement necessary improvements.
• Marketing & Partnerships: Work with the marketing team to plan and run local campaigns that grow brand awareness and user engagement. Explore and manage partnerships with local brands, communities, or businesses to drive joint promotions and reach new audiences.

About you:

• University degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business/Commerce, Social Science, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• You have 2 years of experience in Operations, Consulting, Investment Banking, Technology, and Startup or other relevant organizations, ideally with experience in business development.
• You are a strong collaborator with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills, yet are not afraid to get your hands dirty if needed.
• You have a strong motivation to solve problems creatively and efficiently, and demonstrated ability to take ownership and manage operations across all major cities in Taiwan.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment both locally and globally, and are customer-oriented, always striving to strengthen our value proposition to drive supply growth.
