We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), focusing on security architecture and features on top of the Android framework. Strong knowledge of security and skills of Android system software development are essential for this position. Your contributions will directly impact the creation of high-performance, reliable, and innovative meeting room solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design security architecture and implement security features for embedded systems.
  • Review code for security vulnerabilities and provide guidance on fixes.
  • Conduct threat modeling to identify potential security risks.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Promote and enforce secure coding standards among development teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, operations, product management) to ensure security is integrated into all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Create clear and comprehensive design documents and guidelines.
  • Communicate security risks and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest security technologies and integrate them into the system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering, including secure architecture design, threat modeling, and code review.
  • Familiar with security requirements, security protocols, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
  • Proven experience for integrating security functions from System on Chip (SoC), such as secure boot, secure storage.
  • Experience with embedded systems and Android system software development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Kotlin, and Java. [JJ2]
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English and Mandarin.
  • Ability to work independently in a global organization with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSSLP, CEH, CISSP, or OSCP are a big plus.
