About the Role

We are looking for a 
Senior ML Research Engineer
 to contribute to the design and implementation of
data-driven and simulation-based modeling frameworks
 used to understand and optimize complex industrial processes.

This position suits engineers or researchers with strong analytical and computational backgrounds who enjoy solving physics-based modeling problems using modern machine-learning approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain 
    simulation pipelines
     and 
    data-analysis workflows
     for high-precision manufacturing processes.
  • Apply 
    statistical and ML methods
     to model parameter variability, correlations, and system behavior.
  • Design 
    data pre processing and feature-engineering
     routines for large, heterogeneous datasets.
  • Implement, test, and benchmark 
    classification models
     to support process optimization.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate modeling results into experimental validation or tool-level improvements.
  • Document methodologies and present findings in concise technical reports or internal presentations.

Required Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in 
    Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline
    .
  • Minimum 
    3 years of experience
     in computational modeling, data science, or applied machine learning.
  • Strong programming skills in 
    Python
     (scientific computing stack, PyTorch or TensorFlow preferred).
  • Solid foundation in 
    statistics, optimization, and numerical analysis
    .
  • Demonstrated ability to translate research concepts into working prototypes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in 
    industrial process control
    , 
    simulation
    , or 
    metrology data analytics
    .
  • Experience with 
    Monte-Carlo modeling
    , 
    probabilistic ML
    , or 
    uncertainty quantification
    .
  • Familiarity with high-performance computing or GPU-based model training.
  • Prior collaboration with R&D or manufacturing teams in 
    semiconductor, materials, or photonics
     industries is a plus.
