We are looking for a engineer specializing in Security solutions. You will work collaboratively and virtually with the Security Solution Area Specialist to accelerate technical execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities – selling best-in-class cloud services and platforms to our managed customers and building digital transformation momentum for our customers, partners, and Microsoft.

If you have a passion for Security solutions, engaging with technical decision makers, leading sales strategy, and delivering customer satisfaction, we invite you to learn more about the Solution Engineer role. You will spend up to 75% of your work hours a week on qualified customer work – planning and orchestration, preparation, delivering customer requests (technical presentations, demos, trials, POCs, compete positioning, workshops, etc.), 25% on staying sharp on technical, industry and compete expertise. 

Your primary goal is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use our range of security-focused solutions including AI, extended detection and response (XDR), SIEM, extended security posture management (XSPM),  zero trust and multi cloud security.

To prepare for the role, you will be enrolled in the MCAPS Early-in-Profession (EiP) Program and undergo intensive onboarding and job shadowing in the first six months of the role. We believe those just beginning their journey bring a crucial perspective to advance our mission of empowering customers and partners through AI transformation. The MCAPS Early in Profession (EiP) program prepares the next generation of leaders to be the workforce of the future. A curated onboarding, skilling, community and career development journey promotes professional dexterity, so participants are prepared—and qualified — to quickly deliver customer and partner impact. This journey includes a strong emphasis on developing technical skills and product knowledge, ensuring that participants are equipped with the necessary competencies to meet the demands of their roles. A blend of AI and human-powered experiences in their first three years provide the skills and practice participants need to thrive in their careers and get farther, faster.
