NPI Operations Program Manager, Compute and Storage

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in NPI program or project management.
- MBA or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering or other relevant field.
- Experience in hardware operations.
- Knowledge of hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation and assembly and test processes.
- Ability to communicate for project requirements and schedules.
- Excellent leadership, investigative, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creative and strategic skills.

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to the development and deployment teams with the responsibility for driving operations new product development as well as supporting those products through production ramp. You will lead a team of professionals to ensure products are designed and built to Google standards.

Responsibilities:- Lead cross-functional Program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.
- Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters.
- Ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals.
- Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost/assembly/test/BOM/capacity readiness and transition plans).
