Cronos is the leading blockchain network that interoperates with both Ethereum and Cosmos technology, supporting Decentralized Finance, NFTs, and Metaverse. Cronos Labs is the ecosystem accelerator of the Cronos chain. It drives the development of Cronos and its ecosystem, deploys a broad range of programs aimed at growing user and developer adoption of Cronos, and incubates selected Dapps in order to bootstrap the Cronos ecosystem.

Since the mainnet launch in November 2021, Cronos has surpassed 4 B $ in total Defi asset value and safely processed more than 70 million network transactions. It is home to more than 500 Web3 projects and close to a million crypto users, growing at a fast pace.

About the role

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various venture projects, i.e., projects that are adjacent to our core businesses and are bootstrapped fast with a lean team. You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, including AI-driven interfaces and agent-based systems

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions to complex problems in large-scale infrastructure
  • Create web applications in a distributed environment
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Frontend, DevOps, QA, and PM, to improve tech stack for long-term engineering initiatives

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience, at least 3 years in web development experience
  • Experience building and shipping DeFi applications is a big plus
  • Experience with AI agent frameworks is a big plus
  • Experience creating and optimizing prompts for AI models is a big plus
  • Understanding of the core principles of the front-end frameworks used in ReactJS
  • Experience in using state management tools like Redux, Zustand
  • Hands-on proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript with an understanding of common HTML5 features and ES6 specification; good at page layout and refactoring, browser operation principles, browser compatibility and page rendering execution efficiency, and Chrome debugging.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Familiar with RESTful API and GraphQL. familiar with data transfer between front-end and back-end
  • Proficiency in module management and packaging tools (Webpack, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Rust / Python is a big plus
