In today's rapidly evolving geopolitical and global economic landscape, Taiwan continues to make its presence known on the international stage through scientific and industrial collaboration. As the world's leading power and one of Taiwan's most important strategic partners in diplomacy, technology, and industry, the United States plays a vital role in shaping this cooperation.

The Americas Industry Research Division at ISTI — Taiwan's largest industry think tank — is responsible for in-depth research on policies and trends across the U.S. and Canada, identifying opportunities for collaboration in science and technology, and developing strategic recommendations to advance Taiwan's international positioning.

【工作內容】

1.美加重點科技及產業政策研析,從中找尋台美合作切入點及研擬合作策略 (具半導體與資通訊領域專業知識者尤佳)

2.美加潛在合作夥伴及合作議題研析,如當地學研機構與科研布局方向、領導廠商及新創公司發展動態等,進而襄助台美國際業務推動

3.政府國際合作專案計畫規劃、執行及計畫管理

4.其他政府計畫交辦業務或主管交辦事項

【Key Responsibilities】

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of key science and industry policies in the U.S. and Canada to identify potential areas for Taiwan-U.S. collaboration and develop partnership strategies.
  (Expertise in semiconductors or ICT is highly preferred.)
• Track potential collaboration partners and key topics, including local academic/research institutions, R&D trends, leading enterprises, and startups, to support the development of international partnerships.
• Plan, execute, and manage government-funded international collaboration projects.
• Support other government project tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors.

【需求條件】

• 學歷要求
  :碩士以上學歷,理工相關科系尤佳(如光電、電子、資訊工程等)。
• 工作經驗
  :具備
  5 年以上產業分析相關經驗
  ,具備產業分析師證照者尤佳。
• 專業背景
  :具備半導體或資通訊(ICT)領域分析實務經驗者佳。
• 能力特質
  :

1.對產業研究分析具高度熱忱

2.邏輯清晰、具獨立思考與問題分析能力

3.擅長口頭表達與簡報製作

4.主動積極、具良好溝通協調能力與團隊合作精神

• 語文能力
  :英文聽說讀寫流利,須提供等同 TOEIC 850 分以上英語能力證明或留學經驗,若無法提供,需配合參加工研院英語測驗

【Requirements】

• Education
  : Master's degree or above. Preferred majors include Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other science/engineering-related fields.
• Experience
  : At least 5 years of experience in industry analysis.
• Skills & Qualities

2.Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

3.Proactive attitude and collaborative spirit

4.Passion for industry research and public policy

• Language
  : English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing (equivalent to TOEIC 850+ or overseas academic experience). Applicants without certification will be invited to take ITRI's internal English assessment.
