Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management BA (or Banking Domain BA)

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with a strong background in Asset Management or Banking domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery of financial products, investment systems, and regulatory compliance projects. You will collaborate with business users, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements and help drive process improvements in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear and concise Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications (FSDs).
• Work closely with product managers and technology teams to design and implement solutions in line with asset management or banking workflows.
• Support system implementation, testing, and validation — including UAT planning, execution, and sign-off.
• Identify process gaps and propose improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Assist in defining and prioritizing product backlogs and user stories in Agile environments.
• Liaise with QA, developers, and operations teams to ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
• Stay updated on financial regulations, risk management, and market trends affecting the asset management industry.
• Prepare detailed documentation, training materials, and support business transition activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Banking domains.
• Strong understanding of investment lifecycle processes — portfolio management, order management, trade settlement, NAV calculation, and performance reporting.
• Experience with financial products (Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, ETFs, etc.).
• Familiarity with front-to-back office systems such as Bloomberg, Charles River, SimCorp Dimension, Murex, or Calypso.
• Experience in writing business use cases, user stories, and functional documents.
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools for requirement validation.
