HV Transmission Manager

Join us in this role where you'll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of wind farm electrical assets, and ensure compliance with Taiwanese legislation regarding electrical safety by setting up our electrical safety rules specific for Taiwan. You'll also lead a team of specialists in detailed planning and execution of the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our transmission assets in Taiwan. You'll be part of the Greater Changhua Wind Farm where you'll lead the CHW HV Transmission team that works in the execution department, where they operate and maintain the transmission asset. We prioritize safety in all things we do and adhere to all relevant Taiwanese regulations. As a team, we're committed to excellence and continuous improvement. You'll play an important role in:

• Developing a strong and positive electrical QHSE culture with a focus to maintain and improve safety standards and participate in the continuous development of our Taiwanese electrical safety rules
• Being responsible for planning, directing, and managing the performance of our transmission asset consisting of onshore and offshore substations; incl. responsibility of quality, budget, and resources.
• Being responsible for effectively managing high performance and surveillance of the transmission asset
• Acting as contact person in our organization for the Taiwanese national grid operator, Taipower
• Setting up a training and authorization regime within our Taiwan organization and with affected contractors, ensuring the required competences and skills are defined
• Ensuring safe switching, operation of the plant and equipment, incl. execution of work in accordance with our electrical safety rules.

To succeed in the role, you:

• Have significant experience in high voltage operational management, e.g. from an engineering or utilities business, experience with communicating with national grid operators will be an advantage
• Have proven experience with and insights into Taiwanese legislation towards electrical safety and requirements, coupled with experience with coordinating activities and resource management
• Have an analytical approach to your work and an ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously and calmly without losing perspective
• Are able to create excellent results through teamwork and develop good relationships with your colleagues and external business partners.
• Have to understand the risk assessment and create the proper short/middle/long term improvement plan with the operation team.
