Synera Renewable Energy ("SRE") is a leading renewable energy developer in Taiwan, with a pipeline of offshore wind projects across Taiwan and other parts of Asia such as Japan and Korea. SRE is a portfolio company of a fund managed by Stonepeak, a US-based infrastructure fund with regional headquarter in Hong Kong.

Scope Description
As a key member of the Synera Renewable Energy team, your role will encompass the following:

  • Implement and maintain a Risk Management Framework within the project
  • Identify, assess and monitor project risks
  • Identify and facilitate risk mitigation measures and strategies
  • Perform regular risk reporting
  • Hold regular risk reviews and workshops with internal and external stakeholders such as lenders technical advisors
  • Act as an mentor within the project regarding risk management

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience with risk management best practices and tools such as Monte-Carlo and Schedule Risk Analysis. Plus, if experience with Safran Risk.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills in English and an innovative mindset, but also the ability to work independently and lead on topics.
  • Goal orientated, balancing task, team and individual needs to achieve the right outcome.
  • Considerable experience working in project teams focused on complex, mixed stakeholder environments, high value projects. Plus, if experience in the renewable energy or offshore wind industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (communication, motivation, persuasion), proactive and capable of reaching out to different stakeholders.
  • Drive, enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to develop including that of the team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Methodical and organized, a good facilitator and mediator able to resolve conflict.
