Demand Planning Manager 需求規劃

Purpose of this Position
:

The Demand Planner is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and consolidating market trend, sales plans, and historical data to build accurate demand forecasts and support the the company's S&OP process. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and regional stakholders to ensure business alignment, healthy inventory levels, and efficient operations.

Major Areas of Responsibility
:

• Demand Forecasting & Analysis

• Develop and maintain statistically-supported forecast models by leveraging historical data, CRM pipeline, and market trends. Planner will manage different types of demands:

• Run-rate/Hot-selling products: forecast based on historical trends and data-driven tools such as machine-learning models.

• Project-based demand: consolidate customer/project information and build up contingent, strategic planning by mitigating risks and driving successful opportunities.

• Product life cycle demand, from New to Phase out: planning initial demand for new-launched products and sustain its lifecycle demand by monitoring and maintain healthy inventory levels.

• Contribute to EOL strategies, such as markdown strategies and/or product position strategies based on Excess and Obsolete inventory

• Monitor and analyze key metrics such as forecast accuracy, errors, and book-to-bill ration, and recommend improvement actions.

• Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

• S&OP Process Execution & Enhancements

• Provide data-driven insights to regional and global S&OP meetings, ensuring alignment on a unified demand plan.

• Partner with Sales, PM, Finance, and Manufacturing to balance demand and supply while driving transparency in decision-making.

• Participate in Continuous Improvement and Projects

• Participate in demand management improvement projects, such as data ETL, forecast modeling enhancement, end-to-end process improvements.

• Track external market dynamics (e.g., tariffs, component shortages) and assess their impact on demand planning.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Statistics, Supply Chain, or related disciplines or equivalent experience.
• Minimum +3 years of data analytics/demand planning/forecasting experience with demonstrated success.
• Solid understanding of S&OP process and demand management.
• Strong Excel and basic Power BI skills ; DAX/SQL experience is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret Forecast Accuracy, Errors, and fulfillment results
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP/CRM systems.

Preferred:

• Excellent English communication skills - both verbal & written.
• Experience with Python, R, or machine learning tools.
