Trend Micro Vision One is a purpose-built threat defense platform that offers added value and new benefits beyond traditional XDR (Extended Detection and Response) solutions. It enables customers to gain enhanced visibility and respond more rapidly to threats. In this role, you will focus on Vision One Mobile Security, an advanced XDR product that provides protection against malware, phishing, and other risks on Android and iOS devices. It also supports integration with Azure AD, Intune, AirWatch, Google Workspace, and Trend Micro's own MDM solution, known as MDD Mode.
As a (Sr.) Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting high-quality software solutions. This role involves close collaboration with architects, project managers, developers, QA, and UI designers to develop products that satisfy customer needs, solve their problems, and achieve customer success.
[Responsibilities]
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders on requirement discussions, cross-team integration, and issue resolution.
- Deliver features through the full development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operation.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Automate and enhance development and release processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
[Requirements]
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Familiarity with developing cloud service solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Golang and Python)
- Familiarity with microservice architectures and REST API development
- Familiarity with development relational or NoSQL databases, (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD processes (e.g. GitHub Action)
- Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to take on challenges.
[Nice-to-Have]
- Experience in container solution (e.g., Docker/K8S)
- Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience in monitoring, alerting, and log visualization tools (e.g. Elasticsearch and Kibana)
