AI Software Developer

Positive Grid is seeking a new generation of software developers who can work hand-in-hand with AI to build the future of music creation tools. As part of our AI SaaS team, you will use AI assistants, multi-agent frameworks, and orchestration platforms to create delightful and intelligent user experiences across our music technology products.

We are not looking for someone who just writes code—we're looking for a builder who can shape workflows, experiment quickly, and collaborate with both AI and humans. You'll help us build tools that musicians love, while helping define what it means to be an AI-native developer.

【Typical Accountabilities】

-Use AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude code, ChatGPT SDK, or LangChain to accelerate feature development, prototype AI-powered ideas, and build user-facing tools.

-Partner with PMs and designers to translate fuzzy product ideas into tangible applications via AI-human collaboration.

-Prototype and iterate internal agents or tooling to improve developer and team productivity.

-Evaluate, debug, and improve AI-generated outputs through human-in-the-loop workflows.

-Maintain prompt logs, development notes, and documentation to support team reuse and knowledge sharing.

-Actively explore and introduce new AI toolchains or frameworks to improve development speed and creativity.

【Technical Focus Areas】

-AI-augmented Software Development: Collaborate with generative AI tools and frameworks to co-create software features.

-Prompt Engineering & Context Management: Author layered prompts and managed context via message chunking, conversation IDs, vector databases, etc., to maintain a single source of truth (SSOT) and prevent hallucination.

-Multi-Agent Orchestration

-Design and coordinate multi-agent workflows, covering role assignment, fault recovery, and output validation to ensure robust cross-task cooperation.

-Rapid Prototyping: Build fast, iterative MVPs with feedback loops; deploy tools using Gradio, Streamlit, or similar;

-Evaluation and Debugging: Design validation workflows for AI-generated code or agent behaviors.

-Human-AI Workflow Design: Integrate AI output into CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and product workflows, while creating traceable prompt logs and validation checkpoints.

【People Management Responsibility】

-This role does not have direct management responsibilities but will provide technical leadership and mentoring.

【Required Qualifications and Skills】

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, HCI, Data Science, Information Engineering, or related fields — or equivalent hands-on experience. A strong portfolio of GitHub/OSS contributions may substitute for a formal degree.

Solid programming fundamentals in any language such as Python or JavaScript.

-Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot, OpenAI codex, Claude Code, or similar AI assistants.

-Demonstrated ability to build side projects, participate in hackathons, or create prototypes with AI.

-Critical thinking mindset with the ability to assess, revise, and improve AI-assisted outcomes.

-Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments. able to mentor peers via pair-prompting.

【Desirable Skills and Experience】

-Experience in music tech, DSP, audio ML, or creative technology tools.

-Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, OpenAI API, or vector DB / RAG architecture.

-Frontend tooling experience with Gradio, Streamlit, or browser-based deployment.

-Passion for guitar, music, or creator-focused product ecosystems.

-Experience collaborating with designers or working in a creative/iterative development process.
