Purpose of this Position
Ensure company's duties and responsibilities within the area of import/export and mandating trade compliance.

Responsible for logistic management, ensure that firm should provide fast, accurate, and quality service, including value-added services.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Responsible for accurately classifying products using HS CODEs while leveraging knowledge of preferential tariff programs across various countries to maximize tariff benefits. Integrates HS CODE information with international export control regulations to conduct cross-border compliance assessments. Evaluates export control requirements under U.S. EAR regulations by identifying controlled items and their applicable ECCNs, and assesses dual-use goods according to EU Dual Use Regulations to determine necessary export licensing and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Optimizes the logistics network to affect a controlled flow of goods in an efficient manner.
• Analyzing and designing new distribution networks and optimizing existing ones.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the factors and key influences affecting transportation sourcing activities at a high level of accomplishment.
• Analyzes the impact of security requirements and regulatory trade compliance on the movement of global goods and on business costs.
• Ascertains the correct application of duties and tariffs and country of origin.
• Monitors contract compliance of carriers and logistics service providers.
• Daily import/export operation.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in international logistics or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 8+ years related experience & leading logistics/shipping Operations teams. preferably in Multinational company.
• Language: Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, with a second foreign language expertise (At lease TOEIC score of 730)

Required Competencies

• Familiar with and possess a certain level of professional knowledge to integrate HS CODE information with international export control regulations for cross-border compliance assessment. Able to accurately classify products with the correct HS CODE (Harmonized System Code) and have a solid understanding of preferential tariff schemes of various countries to assist in applying for applicable tariff benefits.
• Proficient in interpreting the U.S. EAR (Export Administration Regulations), capable of identifying controlled items and determining the applicable Export Control Classification Number (ECCN).
• Knowledgeable about the EU Dual Use Regulation, able to identify dual-use goods and assess the need for export licenses.
• Familiar with import/export experience.
• Ability to streamline the flow of goods and to select timely and cost-efficient modes of transportation for all incoming and outgoing shipments as well as storage of goods.
• understanding of the duties and responsibilities within the area of import/export for an organization and the role of the government in mandating trade compliance.
• Evaluates trade-offs between transportation costs, inventory costs, and service levels to design collaborative transportation solutions that are efficient and effective.
• Provides transportation-oriented analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals.
• Contract Management: have knowledge of solid and consistent architecture of customer/forwarder/partner contracts and agreements including terms, timing, and language. It includes the ability to develop complex business arrangements and to manage major company purchasing contracts.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fact-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Team player and effective communicator with all levels of order management and cross functional organizations.
• Proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative.
• Ability to hold oneself and others accountable and keep initiatives on track
• Experience with SAP/ERP/WMS tools.
