We are looking for engineers who will be responsible to support design-in technical issues for post-launch products (CPU).

In this role, you will be acting as a platform technical expert to support customers, resolving customer questions, triage and debug customers issues and will be working closing with the other product support engineers.

Requirements

  • Has computer architecture knowledge and understanding of Intel Architecture-based CPU and chipsets
  • Has knowledge of digital design, transmission lines, micro-controller based designs, power electronics areas
  • Has knowledge on signal integrity and power delivery of IA platform and experience with signal integrity simulation tools / power integrity tools
  • Understanding schematics / layouts of electrical circuits & reviewing skill
  • Strong hardware debug capability & troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated strength with lab equipment including, but not limited to oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and etc.
  • Software experience in various areas (BIOS, firmware, graphics, driver, middleware and application level) with debugging skills on embedded Linux or other real time operating systems (Microsoft Operating Systems - Windows 7/8.x/10, Windows Embedded, etc.)
  • Knowledge of standard embedded systems buses/wired connectivity and protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIE,GPIO).
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS and varied Linux distributions environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering or equivalent with years of relevant experience
  • Analytical and strong problem-solving skills, and ability to drive issues to closure are essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluency across English and Mandarin (required to support Taiwan & PRC customers)
