Role Description

This is a contract role for a (Senior) Cloud Engineer specializing in AWS Migration. The role is hybrid and based in Taipei, with remote work flexibility. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with AWS migration projects, ensuring seamless integration and scalability of cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape migration strategy aligned with business objectives for seamless AWS platform execution
  • Assess customer's current infrastructure and design target AWS architecture
  • Define secure, scalable, cost-optimized migration roadmap and provide expert guidance
  • Design and implement technical foundation for successful cloud transition
  • Evaluate existing environment, establish landing zones, and configure AWS services
  • Plan and execute workload migrations using AWS migration tools and methodologies
  • Minimize downtime and optimize performance throughout the migration process

Required Qualifications:

  • AWS Professional certifications
  • Ability to engage with upper and lower-level stakeholders
  • Work closely with Project Manager on technical challenges and project completion
  • More than 4-year experience in cloud migration projects
  • Proficiency in Mandarin & English
