  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, handling challenging process development, process change implementation, technical issues, and cross-functional / customer communication
  • Develop, evaluate, and continuously improve manufacturing methods based on product design, materials, components, fabrication processes, tooling, equipment, and quality standards
  • Plan and execute PPAP activities related to process changes, including documentation preparation, risk assessment, and mass production release validation
  • Analyze and propose improvements in workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow; plan equipment and production line layouts to maximize overall efficiency
  • Work closely with product design, process planning, and related teams to ensure manufacturability and mass production efficiency
  • Communicate with suppliers and equipment vendors to confirm specifications, support procurement of equipment, materials, or components, and evaluate them against quality and specification requirements
  • Evaluate production cycle time, manpower requirements, and related costs; support management in feasibility assessments for new projects or process investments
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, and related functions on manufacturing capability, production schedules, and resource allocation to ensure smooth production flow
  • Apply manufacturing and statistical methodologies to assess future manufacturing needs and capacity planning
  • Design, validate, and improve manufacturing processes and equipment through research and experimentation, including tooling, assembly, and machining methods
  • Participate in or support automation equipment implementation; experience with PLC programming, modification, or troubleshooting is a plus
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing efficiency by optimizing workflow, space utilization, and equipment layout
  • Plan and execute process and product quality validation; establish test methods and quality standards to ensure process stability and product quality
  • Calculate and analyze production, labor, and material costs to support manufacturing decision-making
  • Compile and analyze product and process data; prepare technical and management reports
  • Train and guide technicians to complete process development and improvement projects
