About the Team

At Net Protections (TW), we serve millions with innovative payment solutions that make financial services easy, secure, and accessible. We foster a flat, flexible culture where team members take initiative and create real impact — now seeking a Data Scientist / Data Analyst to turn data into actionable strategies and drive FinTech innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Translate cross-team needs (e.g., Marketing, Operations) into actionable data analysis reports or dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate on new feature development, including pre-launch impact estimation and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Lead exploratory analyses based on product goals, turning insights into concrete action plans.
  • Define data requirements/specifications for engineering teams, and validate data quality after implementation.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests, recommending optimizations based on results.
  • Maintain and improve our data platforms (Athena, QuickSight).

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of data analysis experience (or internship experience with proven impact).
  • Strong in SQL and one data analysis language (Python or R).
  • Experience with at least one BI/dashboard tool (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
  • Strong problem-solving skills: able to turn abstract business problems into structured analysis.
  • End-to-end project execution experience.
  • Good communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Basic English communication skills for daily work.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with GA4, Mixpanel, or other tracking tools.
  • API development (FastAPI, Lambda).
  • Applied experience in ML, LLMs, or NLP.
  • B2C project management in a cross-functional setting.
  • Experience in:
  • User segmentation/tagging systems
  • Personalized marketing/recommendation systems
  • Experimentation platforms
  • Integrated analytics platforms
  • (Optional) Past data analysis/application project samples showing problem statement, analytical approach, and business impact.
