Job Summary:

Repair Engineer performs repair of defective boards of Supermicro products, identifies failure root cause of defective boards for production line yield rate improvement. Besides, also join SMT/PCBA assembly line to early dig out production issue, to reduce failure rate and defective boards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Apply first level review for IQC/ Production Line return fault board.

2. Performs rework, repair and implement ECO upgrade of Repair PCBA(Motherboards, backplane, riser card and )

3. Based on ECO document performs ECO upgrade of ALL in stock PCBA

4. Perform VI and function testing of motherboards, backplane, and AOCs when required so and under supervisions.

5. Support data collection of inspection result and defect repair.

Qualifications:
  • Work experience: More than 2 years of experience in computer PCBA repair.

  • Academic requirements: University or above

  • Engineering subjects, mathematics and computer science subjects, business and management subjects

  • language conditions:

    English -- Listening / Medium, Speaking / Medium, Reading / Medium, Writing / Medium

    Chinese -- Listening /Medium, Speaking /Medium, Reading /Medium, Writing /Medium

  • Other conditions:

    Capable of basic English communication.

    Able to accommodate long-term business travel to various branch offices and a transfer to the US HQ.
