Job Description
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Source and purchase MRO supplies such as tools, safety equipment, spare parts, and janitorial materials , , , etc.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder materials as needed to avoid shortages or overstock.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to understand material requirements.
- Process purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain vendor relationships and assess supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or reliability.
- Work closely with accounts payable to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Support audits and maintain procurement records in ERP or inventory management systems.
- Support and proceed AI program for improvement of daily operations.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field
(preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally in MRO or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of MRO categories and suppliers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
- Daily operation with AI experience is plus.
