Software Quality and Test Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Software Quality and Test Engineer to support our software testing and validation efforts. This role involves coordinating and managing system and acceptance tests, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing within regulated environments and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage planning of system and acceptance tests.
- Define and communicate test strategies, manage test processes, and ensure integrity of testing activities.
- Initiate and monitor actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes, and services.
- Plan, organize, and conduct formal independent audits of complex projects and major programs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g GxP, 21 CFR 11).
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or equivalent project-related experience.
Experience
- Extensive experience in software testing within regulated environments.
- Experience in the life sciences sector is highly desirable.
