Corning's Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays ("LCDs") that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Role Purpose
Performs technical duties and activities within prescribed time frames. Participates in projects to improve overall process and technical efficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and patrol Facility systems (Power, Water ,Gas and HVAC…) within the Plant utility requirement
  • Emergency response for Facility systems abnormal and production utility case
  • Operation, maintenance, improvement and evaluation planning of Facility systems
  • Execute related tasks of Facility systems and ensure timely solutions of system or equipment issues.
  • General and building maintenance related engineering management
  • Analyzes abnormal cases of Facility system and report out the issues with professional data analysis and clear logical process
  • Facility system SCADA Operation and maintenance
  • Achieve the cost-effectiveness of system Operation
  • Meet Facility department requirement and conduct rigorous change control and clear communication with'

Experiences/Education - Required

  • College degree and major in Mechanical Engineering and Automation, or other related.
  • 2+ years of Facility experience in mechanical at least.

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Good understanding of Mechanical system, include operation, and maintenance
  • Facility / Manufacturing operation.
  • Equipment trouble shooting skill.
  • Positive working attitude.
  • Work well within team group.
  • Good working PCPD following.
  • Mechanical drawing reading.
