What You'll Do

• Guide, mentor, and develop the SAP team to achieve outstanding results while promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Establish strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication of expectations and requirements throughout all stages of SAP projects.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of SAP project delivery, from initial planning through execution, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Provide timely support for incidents, service requests, and change requests related to SAP applications to maintain smooth business operations.
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, propose effective SAP-based solutions, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with regional and global IT teams to ensure all SAP initiatives are aligned with broader enterprise architecture and strategic objectives.
• Manage relationships with external vendors providing SAP services, including coordinating resources as needed for successful project outcomes.
• Monitor system performance proactively, plan necessary upgrades, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation of SAP environments.
• Prepare and manage the IT budget specific to SAP-related activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for both current needs and future growth.

What You Bring

• Extensive knowledge of core SAP modules along with a deep understanding of integration points between different systems within the platform.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects from inception through completion within multinational or regional organisations.
• Proven track record in leading teams effectively by fostering collaboration, supporting professional development, and encouraging open communication.
• Exceptional communication skills enabling you to build trust with stakeholders at all levels while clearly articulating technical concepts in accessible terms.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable SAP solutions that drive measurable process improvements.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships efficiently by coordinating external resources when required for successful project delivery.
• Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken), facilitating effective interaction within international teams.
• Advanced skills in word processing tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as other relevant office software packages.
• A minimum of 8–12 years' experience implementing and supporting SAP solutions—including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity overseeing people managers.
