ESG Analyst

Position Summary
】

As an ESG Analyst at QIC, you will help listed companies across Taiwan and Greater China enhance their ESG practices and communicate more effectively with global investors. You will work closely with senior consultants on projects spanning ESG ratings, sustainability reporting, and ownership & proxy advisory, gaining hands-on exposure to how ESG shapes capital markets and corporate strategy.

【Responsibilities】

• Strategic ESG Ratings and Disclosure:
  Take ownership of ESG ratings projects (S&P CSA, MSCI, CDP, FTSE Russell ESG, Sustainalytics, etc.), translating complex methodologies into clear indicator mappings and gap analyses, and shaping concrete improvement plans that directly influence clients' scores and capital-market perception.

• Sustainability Disclosure Optimization:
  Critically review and enhance sustainability reports, annual reports, and website disclosures, helping clients upgrade their policies, processes, and governance structures so that their ESG story is both investment-grade and execution-ready.

• Project Management and Stakeholder Coordination:
  Drive project timelines and deliverables across multiple engagements, align cross-functional stakeholders (finance, HR, procurement, EHS, IR, etc.), and ensure that clients receive clear, decision-useful outputs.

• Ownership, Proxy, and Investor Engagement Support:
  Support ownership and proxy-related projects by synthesizing key materials, preparing high-quality decks and talking points for foreign institutional investors, and helping clients navigate ESG expectations in capital markets.

• Client Relations and Business Development:
  Work closely with senior team members to prepare proposals, tailored management presentations, and case studies that showcase impact, and help identify opportunities where our ESG and ownership advisory can create tangible value for clients.

• Product Development and Marketing:
  Contribute to refining internal methodologies and templates, support the planning and execution of seminars and webinars, and assist with ESG-related articles, event materials, and other content marketing.

Requirements
】

• Bachelor's degree
  in a related field (e.g., Finance, Business, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability or a related discipline).

• Internship or work experience in
  sustainability, corporate governance, or related areas
  is a plus; ESG-related certifications are also highly valued.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English
  .

• Familiarity with sustainability standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP) and
  ESG rating methodologies
  (e.g., ISS, CDP, DJSI, MSCI).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to effectively produce reports, analyses, and presentations.

• Strong ability to analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data with high attention to detail.

• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

• Strong time-management skills and experience working under tight deadlines.

• Positive attitude, adaptability, and comfort working with ambiguity and changing priorities.
