Hardware Engineer

This role will allow you to work on a number of large-scale projects, working closely with colleagues from different departments to drive every step of the product from design to mass production.

What Will You Do
As a hardware R&D engineer, you will be deeply involved in the entire process of network switch products from initial design to mass production and market launch. In your day-to-day work, you need to not only draw detailed circuit diagrams and review PCB layouts, but also be good at evaluating system architecture and writing complete design documents to ensure that the information is transparent and easy for team collaboration. In addition, this role emphasizes the spirit of cross-departmental collaboration, and you will often discuss various challenges in development, pilot production and mass production with other department partners to find the best solutions. By actively participating in project management and problem analysis, your contribution will directly impact product quality and market performance, while also continuing to learn and grow through diverse collaborations.

• Responsible for the hardware wiring diagram of the network switch, including detailed planning circuit design and ensuring that it meets product requirements and quality standards.
• Conduct a Layout Review to review the PCB layout to ensure the design is optimized and potential issues are reduced.
• Evaluate the system architecture, propose the most suitable design for different project requirements, and integrate it.
• Write all kinds of hardware design related documents, including specifications, test reports, maintenance manuals, etc., to facilitate team communication and follow-up maintenance.
• Cross-departmental cooperation and coordination, and take the initiative to participate in problem analysis and discussion meetings in the development, trial production and mass production stages.
• Assist in solving technical challenges encountered in the development process and propose concrete and feasible solutions to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
• Cooperate with software, firmware and testing teams to optimize product performance and improve overall product competitiveness.
• Regularly review the progress of the project and report to the management on key milestones and risk assessment results.

What Do You Bring
The ideal hardware R&D engineer should have a strong background in network switch design, familiar with mainstream platforms such as BCM, Marvell, and Realtek, and able to use tools such as Cadence Capture and Allegro to complete high-quality circuit design. In addition, if you have worked on several large-scale projects and successfully brought your products to market, you can demonstrate your expertise. Hands-on experience in the field of PoE technology, as well as mastery of FPGA/CPLD coding skills such as VHDL or Verilog, will make you a perfect fit in this role. • With more than five years of experience in network switch design, preferably familiar with the BCM, Marvell and Realtek platform development processes.
• Proficient in Cadence Capture and Allegro tools, he can complete circuit design and PCB layout review work independently.
• Those who have successfully participated in more than three network switch projects, and those with complete product development to mass production experience are preferred.
• With PoE (Power over Ethernet) related development, design and testing experience, it can effectively improve the functionality of the product.
• With FPGA or CPLD coding capability (VHDL or Verilog), it is better to be flexible to apply it to different project requirements.
