About MedBuddy: MedBuddy starts as a medication tracking and reminder app to help elderly users with chronic conditions understand their prescriptions and stay adherent to their medication routines. Our current version, which is integrated with LINE, has overwhelmingly positive user feedback from our user testing, thus demonstrating strong product validation. We are looking for a leader to evolve MedBuddy into a personalized health management platform that connects seniors, their families, and doctors through an intuitive, voice-based interface.Currently, MedBuddy's users consistently highlight its reminders as  highly valuable as it helps them take both medications and supplements on time every day. MedBuddy also generates concise medication and vital-sign summaries to support better doctor–patient communication and clinical decision-making. With clear user pain points and an intuitive AI-driven experience, Taiwan will serve as our initial launch market to establish product–market fit and user adoption. After proving out significant user  traction, we plan to expand into other rapidly aging markets: Japan, Korea, and eventually the U.S. and beyond.
What We Seek: AI Fund is seeking a Founding CEO to take a concept from 0 → 1 and build it into a company. This is a ground-floor opportunity for a technical builder to shape, execute, and ultimately scale a new venture. We are looking for entrepreneurs who either have first-hand experience with a problem they want to solve or who may be a strong fit for concepts already in our pipeline. While not required, the ideal candidate has experience solving real business problems and anticipating risks. You might have been a product manager responsible for a product or product line, an engineer who influenced company direction from the ground level, a management consultant with deep vertical domain knowledge — or a founder who understands how razor-thin the margin is between success and failure and wants every strategic advantage. Most importantly, we are looking for leaders — people who can hire exceptional talent, inspire others around their vision, raise capital, and execute. If you're a hands-on technical leader eager to co-found and build a GenAI venture from the ground up, we'd love to meet you.  What You Will Be Doing:
  • As Founding CEO, you will define the product vision and lead technical execution. You'll apply deep Generative AI  expertise and product intuition to solve meaningful user problems—working in close partnership with a Product Builder, Technical Builder, and AI Fund leadership. This role demands high ownership, rapid iteration in ambiguous environments, and a founder mindset.
  • Lead technical execution from early experimentation through MVP.
  • Partner with a Product Builder to define and evolve the product vision.
  • Explore and apply the latest AI capabilities to real-world use cases.
  • Build and ship prototypes using LLMs, agents, RAG pipelines, eval frameworks, and more.
  • Architect scalable, full-stack systems using modern cloud infrastructure.
  • Engage directly with users to gather insights, iterate rapidly, and refine the product.
  • Operate with a founder mindset, making bold decisions with incomplete data and driving execution forward.
  • Set and maintain a high bar for engineering and product quality while moving fast.
What You Must Bring:
  • Strong technical fluency in AI, LLMs, and modern ML frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience shipping full-stack, cloud-native consumer applications.
  • Proven track record of building and launching 0–1 products.
  • Comfortable leading in ambiguity and acting without perfect information.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (product, design, GTM).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills that inspire alignment and trust.
  • Strong user empathy and product sense — deeply understand user behavior, pain points, and motivations to design intuitive, delightful user experiences that drive engagement and retention.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
Nice to Haves:
  • Prior startup or founding engineer experience.
  • Familiarity with fundraising.
  • Domain expertise in the health management, chronic care domains.
  • Experience applying computer vision and image recognition techniques (e.g., object detection or image classification) to real-world use cases.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and compliance frameworks and best practices for handling sensitive or user-generated data securely.
