What Will You Do?The main focus of this role is to perform and supervise the installation and commissioning and start-up activities for all Howden products including rotary heaters, axial/centrifugal/cooling fans, and diaphragm/ reciprocating/ screw/ centrifugal compressors
What needs to be done?
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with both Howden and the customers standards.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all types of Howden products.
- Take responsibility for all activities relating to the service, repair and maintenance of Howden products.
- Be a confident advisor and the first point of contact for our customers.
- Manage reporting, both internally and externally as required.
Your work location will be in Taiwan - Kaoshiung.
Your Experience Should Be...- Relevant technical background, ideally a Bachelor's degree (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics or related field).
- An interest in rotating equipment.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in the area of heavy industrial, petrochemical, power, steel or nonferrous.
- Field service skills including an understanding of mechanical service tools and electrical diagnosis instruments.
- A basic technical knowledge of all PEP (Power Environment & Process) products including Rotary heaters, Axial/ Centrifugal/ Cooling fans, Diaphragm/ Reciprocating/ Screw/ Centrifugal compressors
- A safety mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills - fluent in written and spoken Taiwanese and English
- PC literate (Outlook, MS Office – Excel/Word
- Willing and able to travel for up to 1 – 4 weeks at a time and often at very short notice
