  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will use the technical expertise to lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company. You will explain the team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

You will play a key role in ensuring that product requirements are captured. You will manage cross-functional communication and technical dependencies with other Google teams, creating and driving the overall program schedule, quality, resources, identifying and mitigating risk at all stages, and defining the overall structure and meeting protocols between teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage development Health and Home hardware products and drive the overall execution and strategy of the team.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to meet schedule, system build milestones, cost, quality and manufacturability.
  • Drive product development processes and phase gate reviews with the cross-functional teams.
  • Lead resolution on key technical issues and communication of project status to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Interface between joint development partners and cross functional Engineering and Operation teams.
