About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure systems that power our core services. As an SRE, you'll work with software development, applying engineering principles to improve system reliability, performance, and efficiency. You'll also closely work with the network team, cloud engineers, and the architect to ensure our on premises and cloud platforms are resilient, observable, and continuously improving.

Responsibilities:
  • Reliability & Performance
  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure and services with high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address bottlenecks or failures.
  • Automation & Tooling
  • Develop automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Incident Management
  • Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and drive postmortem reviews.
  • Improve alerting and on-call processes to reduce noise and increase response efficiency.
  • Observability & Monitoring
  • Build and maintain observability stacks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Collaboration & Culture
  • Partner with development teams to embed reliability into the software lifecycle.
  • Advocate for best practices in system design, deployment, and operations.

Requirement:
  • 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems, VMWare, and cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for reliability and automation.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of chaos engineering and resilience testing.
