About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning Researcher
to join an early-stage R&D initiative focused on advancing high-precision predictive modeling within semiconductor manufacturing and process optimization. The ideal candidate will combine strong applied machine learning expertise with an ability to work in research-oriented, data-scarce environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and evaluate advanced ML models for complex industrial datasets.
- Develop synthetic data pipelines and apply domain randomization for robust model training.
- Conduct statistical analysis, uncertainty quantification, and interpretability studies.
- Implement MLOps workflows to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
- Present results, insights, and experimental progress clearly to technical and strategic stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Physics, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in
Python
and ML frameworks such as
PyTorch
or
TensorFlow
. - Experience in
representation learning
,
multimodal fusion
, or
probabilistic modeling
. - Solid understanding of
synthetic data generation
,
simulation-to-real transfer
, or
domain adaptation
is highly desirable. - Familiarity with
data visualization
and performance evaluation metrics (ROC-AUC, calibration curves, etc.). - Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in computational modeling, optical systems, or manufacturing analytics.
- Exposure to physics-informed ML or hybrid modeling approaches.
- Experience working in small, agile research teams or startups.
