Test Engineer, Devices and Services

- 3 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
- Experience in Python language development and debugging.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in specialized testing such as production testing.
- Experience in testing consumer electronic products for manufacturing.
- Experience working with third-party contract manufacturers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as needed.
- Develop test scripts to correctly and securely load critical keys and configurations onto Google's hardware devices.
- Maintain provisioning servers (local and cloud based) and station components to ensure the stability and reliability of the hardware and software involved in provisioning.
- Explore and integrate ML/AI technologies to create unique solutions for factory provisioning systems.
- Collaborate with the Contract Manufacturer (CM), hardware, software, and other cross-functional teams to understand provisioning requirements and deliver the appropriate solutions.
- Ensure secure provisioning by verifying that Google's provisioning systems adhere to a high level of security standards and protocols. Identify areas for improvement in the provisioning test process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
