Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the project team to ensure alignment between the design and execution methodology
  • Collaborate with the tendering team to optimize working methods economically for the benefit of the tender
  • Perform structural design using specialized software and engineering calculations
  • Assist in the design of marine structures (e.g., jetties, berthing and mooring dolphins, loading facilities, quay walls, seawalls, breakwater crown walls) and complementary structures (e.g., ramps, access trestles, small bridges, walkways, platforms, construction frames)
  • Provide technical support and design solutions for structural projects
  • Liaise with design sub-consultants, clients, and relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals
  • Gather information from the HSE Department and provide recommendations accordingly
  • Investigate incidents and ensure compliance with HSE requirements
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with international standards, as well as defined policies and procedures, to support the effective, efficient, and professional functioning of the engineering team

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Structural, or Coastal), or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering and design within related industries
  • Taiwanese nationality preferred
