JOB SUMMARY

As a Lead Engineer for payment product development, you will be able to technically lead the entire cross functional design team on their interactions and responsibilities for that project.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead junior engineer to have success project delivery to meet technical requirements and schedule.
  • Delivering mechanical structure analysis reports, and the mitigation solution/plan to fix mechanical structure defects.
  • Capable of define the suitable process and working models to fulfill diverse business requirements.
  • Capable to evaluate mechanical structure by FEA tools such as Ansys Mechanical/Ls-dyna/Sherlock, and offering the design risk assessment report in early phase.
  • Implement reliability testing via structure equipment (Shock Table, Vibration Table, Package Drop Machine, water-proof, dust-proof, ball impact, tumbling, spectrum analyzer and relative equipment, etc…).
  • Validation test support includes material preparation, system setup, schedule tracking.
  • Training lab assistant to execute mechanical reliability validation on-site.
  • Build and maintain structure relative Spec/SOP/Playbook.
  • Mechanical relative research and workshops.
  • Collaborate with cross-functions to have success delivery on business.
  • Fulfill 80% or more of above

Basic Requirements:

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechanics, Marine engineering, Civil engineering or equivalent experience beyond.
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical development, structure analysis, FEA.
  • Familiar reliability validation testing and the industry spec in the mechanical structure field.
  • Comfortable presenting to technical audiences in English language.
  • Strong relationship management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across many levels of a matrixed organization.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Fluent in English language (verbal and written)
  • Experience with Python and/or simulation tool plugin development
  • Packaging engineering experience
