Purchase materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
Your responsibilities:
Procurement & Inventory Management
Responsible for spare parts inventory across all required TC types, including forecasts.
Purchase materials for jobs and stock replenishment, considering cost, quantity, and delivery time.
Define replenishment figures with sales and workshop teams.
Ensure continuous and adequate inventory levels using ERP master data.
Organize procurement and storage of goods, including emergency duty coverage.
Supplier & Contract Management
Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with category teams, Supplier Quality, and Engineering.
Negotiate agreements and periodically renew pricelists, terms, and conditions.
Recommend and execute frame agreements adapted to local business needs.
Manage transport suppliers and shipping documentation.
Operational Support
Administer reception and expedition of goods, including import/export documentation.
Support bid and proposal teams with market information.
Align supplier orders with customer requirements (ERP/SOP/project-based).
Track goods received and ensured accurate invoice processing.
Performance & Process Optimization
Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, lead time) and resolve issues.
Maintain and update Pro-Supply global supplier relationship platform.
Enter and maintain master data in local ERP (e.g., minimum inventory levels, forecasts).
Plan product range and simplify spare parts inventory to minimize capital lockup.
Improve stock turnover and reduce depreciation without compromising service quality.
Drive continuous process improvement.
Your background:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management preferably in marine sectors.
Familiarity with turbocharger components or mechanical spare parts is a strong advantage.
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. S4Hana and supplier management).
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of import/export documentation and logistics coordination.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
