Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our License Compliance and Advisory Services function in Taiwan. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in software licensing, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership, with prior experience in the Big Four or a comparable license compliance environment.
This position will be reporting to Director, License Compliance, APAC Key
Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership & Team Management
• Lead and mentor a team delivering compliance services across Taiwan.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with PTC's global compliance objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as a trusted advisor to internal senior leadership and external C-level executives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across Legal, Finance, Sales, Operations, and Partner ecosystems.
• Compliance Program Execution
• Oversee end-to-end license compliance engagements including advisory, usage assessments, and anti-piracy initiatives.
• Interpret complex licensing agreements and transaction histories to formulate tailored compliance strategies.
• Account Strategy & Risk Mitigation
• Maintain a broad view of customer accounts to identify compliance risks and opportunities.
• Design and implement education campaigns, enforcement protocols, and advisory frameworks to promote proper software usage.
• Reporting & Resolution
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
• Negotiate fair resolutions and ensure timely closure of engagements.
Qualifications Experience
• 10–12 years of relevant experience in software license compliance, risk assurance, or internal audit.
• Prior tenure with a Big Four audit firm or equivalent compliance advisory role is strongly preferred. Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Skills
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Advanced analytical capabilities include in-depth customer profiling, market and industry trends, customer competitor analysis, and in-house datasets.
• Deep understanding of the software commercial lifecycle, licensing models, and regulatory frameworks with project management mindset.
Language Requirements: Native-level proficiency in Mandarin and fluent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
