The British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (BCCT) is a dynamic and influential organization that fosters business connections, promotes UK-Taiwan trade relations, and supports member companies through networking, advocacy, and engagement. We are seeking a proactive and personable Member Relationship Specialist to join our team and help strengthen our member network.

Role Overview

As a Member Relationship Specialist, you will be the key liaison between BCCT and its member companies. Your role will focus on cultivating strong relationships, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new members. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Outreach
  • Identify potential member companies and strategic contacts
  • Initiate outreach and coordinate meetings or site visits
  • Support the Chamber's growth by engaging with prospective members
  • Member Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Maintain and update contact records in the member database
  • Liaise regularly with existing member companies to ensure continued engagement
  • Facilitate communication and follow-ups after meetings or events
  • New Member Onboarding
  • Build and manage contact lists for newly joined members
  • Guide new companies through the onboarding process
  • Ensure smooth integration into the BCCT community
  • Administrative & Coordination Support
  • Assist with scheduling, documentation, and follow-up communications
  • Support the team in organizing member-related activities and initiatives

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-ups
  • Comfortable with CRM systems or contact databases
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus
  • Prior experience in business development, client relations, or membership organizations preferred
