The substitute school nurse is an on-call position responsible for providing health services to students in accordance with school policies and procedures. Health services include evaluating student health concerns, using professional judgment to provide appropriate care and comfort, making referrals to doctors when necessary, and keeping parents, teachers, and administrators informed as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued in Taiwan (required)
  • Valid CPR/First Aid certification (in accordance with Taiwanese standards)
  • Minimum of one year of full-time clinical nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or school setting
