Job Summary
Responsible for overall operations and growth strategy in the Taiwan market, driving revenue expansion, increasing market share, optimizing partner relationships, and enhancing internal team efficiency. Full accountability spans from strategic planning to execution.
Key Responsibilities
1.Strategy & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute market growth strategies, including market research, competitive analysis, product localization, and business model adjustments.
- Identify new business opportunities and market gaps, and develop new business lines or partnership models.
2.Revenue & Financial Accountability
- Set and achieve revenue, gross margin, and profit targets.
- Control operational costs, improve efficiency and profitability.
- Regularly review performance data, analyze variances, and implement adjustments.
3.Team Leadership & Organizational Management
- Build strong local teams (BD, AM, Marketing, Partnerships, etc.) through recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure effective cross-departmental collaboration with clear interfaces and reasonable resource allocation.
4.Partner & Stakeholder Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key merchants, platforms, and suppliers.
- Lead negotiations, partnership design, and contract discussions with strategic influence.
5.Operational Execution & Efficiency
- Plan and optimize daily operational processes, including customer service, merchant onboarding, quality management, and cost control.
- Establish and monitor KPIs/OGSM, such as user growth, retention rates, merchant satisfaction, revenue efficiency, and operational costs.
6.Brand & Marketing
- Support or lead marketing and promotional activities to enhance brand awareness and market share.
- Leverage digital/online and offline channels to drive user acquisition and retention.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Work Experience:
5+ years with successful track records in platform, consumer services, O2O, delivery, lifestyle services, or similar business models preferred. (Emphasis on ability to deliver results over years of experience.) - Leadership Experience:
Previous mid-to-senior management roles with experience leading entire markets/regions; proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. - Operations & P&L Management:
Proficiency in setting revenue/cost/profit targets, analyzing financials, budget planning, and execution control. - Business Acumen & Market Insight:
Ability to assess market dynamics, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior, and propose solutions effectively. - Network & Resources:
Preferred connections with merchants, platforms, policy stakeholders, or supply chain partners. - Execution & Efficiency-Oriented:
Strong ability to translate strategy into actionable, measurable plans with focus on speed and results. - Communication & Coordination:
Capable of collaborating smoothly with C-suite, HQ, international teams, internal departments, and external partners. - Language Skills:
Professional bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English, both written and verbal. - Education:
Bachelor's degree or above, with strong cultural fit and alignment.
Success Metrics / Expected Outcomes
- First 6–12 months:
Complete CEO-defined market assessment and strategy setting, establish key merchants and partners, achieve initial revenue and user/merchant growth targets. - Annual Targets:
Internal use of OGSM; monthly reviews and dynamic marketing budget adjustments. Requires face-to-face discussion for details.
