What You'll Do

• Develop robust C programming solutions based on embedded Linux OS platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability across all products.
• Assist with issue handling from manufacturing processes, laboratory testing environments, and field deployments, providing responsive support to internal teams.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimisation of DOCSIS, PON, and Wi-Fi protocol features within broadband devices.
• Collaborate closely with customers to understand feature requirements and deliver tailored software solutions that meet their needs.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to share insights, troubleshoot problems collaboratively, and ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
• Support the integration of new technologies into existing product lines by researching industry trends and applying best practices in software engineering.
• Document technical specifications, development processes, and troubleshooting steps clearly for future reference by colleagues and stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers by sharing your experience in embedded systems development and fostering a nurturing learning environment.

What You Bring

• Bachelor of Engineering field with over 3 years of networking experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in C programming for embedded Linux OS platforms over several years of hands-on experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of DOCSIS 3.0/3.1 protocols gained through involvement in cable modem software development.
• Proven track record of developing software on OpenWRT and RDK-B platforms within commercial product environments.
• Familiarity with TR069 and SNMP network service development is highly desirable for candidates seeking to broaden their impact.
• Experience with BSP porting is considered an asset for those looking to contribute across multiple layers of system integration.
• Knowledge of Intel Puma or Broadcom platform architectures enhances your ability to collaborate effectively with hardware teams.
