Responsibilities (What he/she will do after join UI):
Develop and debug WLAN/WiFi Driver/FirmwarePerformance analysis, tuning on WLAN/WiFi Driver/FirmwareAnalyze and troubleshoot WiFi issues through snifferLinux kernel/driver programming/debuggingDevelop and implement test plans to verify and debug implementationPlan and drive technical discussions with internal teams and chip vendorsMinimum Qualifications (MUST-haves) :
Strong coding skills in C/C++, shell scripting, MakefileExperience with Wi-Fi standards including 802.11ac/ax/k/v/rExperience with Linux device driver development, Linux kernel patching, source management systems such as gitExperience in embedded system software programmingProficiency in English verbal and textProficiency in using debugging tools like gdb/strace/objdump, and kernel debug configsA team player, who is very self-motivated, loves difficult challenges, and is goal drivenStrong communication skills, able to work both solo and in teamsAt least 3yr+ experience as SW/FW engineerMS/Ph.D in computer science/electronic engineering or a closely related field is preferred
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-haves / Plus) :
Complete understanding of all Wi-Fi standards, including 802.11beExperience in Java/Rust/GoFamiliar with MTK/QCA-based WiFi SoCFamiliar with OpenWrt/LEDE developmentGood knowledge of L2/L3 network protocol: VLAN/STP/LLDP/IGMP-Snooping/IP/IP6/Routing, etc5yr+ experience as SW/FW engineer-
