Job Summary:
The Account Manager is the link between the client and the agency to ensure the client is represented accurately and the agency's capabilities are demonstrated. You will be responsible for customer service and end-to-end purchase of in-store point of sale marketing materials, including managing any design related projects for Tag's clients in the Retail, FMCG and Toy industries. The primary focus of this role will be to deliver exceptional customer service and project management, from taking briefs to production management to managing our suppliers. This role involves management of multiple client accounts and ad hoc support for new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Client Management
- Manage a portfolio of smaller accounts as they grow
- Develops a good understanding of clients' businesses and industry sectors
- Ownership of the development of client relationships. Builds relationships with clients and manage their perceptions and expectations
- Identify clients' pain points and provide solutions
- Owns and resolves customer complaints
Operations
- Procurement of Point of Sale materials from our supply chain, delivering on time, to specification, to quality and to contractual targets
- Managing client's design briefs and working with Tag's inhouse studio teams
- Management of campaigns and components
- Be able to comprehend fully clients' requirement and to take brief clearly from client
- Provide technical input and advice on POSM projects as required
- Selection of the most appropriate supplier negotiate costing and timescales for each job
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers
- Daily tracking and analysis of benchmarking information, ensuring that this data is communicated monthly to the Management
- Implement and use of Tag's technology system for job reporting and administration duties related to account operations
- Provide support for Account Director and new business opportunities.
Brand Guardian
- Ensure that the brand's image and standards are maintained at all times based on the direction and strategy set by the company and the brand principals.

Finance
- Responsible for daily financial administration task and duty
- Ensures best practice procedures are followed and documentation complete
- Ensures most competitive costs are achieved on each project
- Meet cost saving and contractural targets
Business Development
- Demonstrates an understanding of the technological direction of the industry and how these advances will benefit the client
- Identify opportunities for business growth and further value add for the client; highlight to line manager
Personal Development
- Takes responsibility for own performance management working with the support of the manager
- Coaches and supports peers as appropriate
Requirements:
· Strong product knowledge of 2D, 3D print and POSM is a must
· Deep understanding of the local retail / drugstore environment is preferred
· Agency/ client servicing experience in either purchasing or production management is preferred
· Fluency in Chinese and English (both writing and speaking) required.
· Excellent customer service skills and strong project management ability
· Detailed oriented, highly organised, have a systematic approach to tasks
· Self-motivated with can-do attitude
· Experience of working in a fast pace environment where priorities are constantly changing
· PC literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, email etc)
The Account Manager will need to be a multi-tasker, be able to use their initiative, and have a problem-solving attitude. This is a role for an outgoing and energetic team player who can also be relied on to operate independently and remain focused under pressure.
