Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to expand our client portfolio and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will play a key role in generating new leads, managing client relationships, and supporting sales initiatives to enhance our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal & Quotation Support: Assist in preparing client proposals and quotations by coordinating with origin and destination offices, procurement teams, and tender management for the PSA BDP BDS division.
- Lead Generation & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation tools, market research, and collaboration with the Asia-Pacific sales team.
- Client Engagement & Travel: Conduct customer visits and travel as needed (hybrid role) to foster relationships, expand existing accounts, and develop new revenue streams.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an up-to-date CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities, target lists, and regional pipelines for the BDS team.
- Campaign & Project Management: Support sales-specific campaigns and initiatives to drive business growth and market penetration.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare sales and marketing reports as required for PSA BDP BDS leadership, regional management, and country teams.
- RFI/RFQ Coordination: Assist in completing Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) as needed.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the BDS and Operations teams to develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned to support business objectives.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in sales support, telemarketing, or a related role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM systems, and quoting tools.
