Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities:
• Interface with Sales, Operations, Finance and Accounting teams regarding the negotiation of a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to sales, procurement, channel, partnership, OEM, licensing, and services agreements.
• Advise on risks of proposed commercial transactions and provide practical and results-oriented legal advice to meet business objectives.
• Keep abreast of applicable laws, regulations and industry guidance to ensure best practice and compliance.
• Additionally, as a contributing member of our dynamic Legal team, you must have the willingness and ability to expand beyond your primary responsibilities to work on other legal issues that may arise and deliver training to non-legal colleagues.
• years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years of in-house experience.
• Practical experience of enterprise level business with a solid understanding of commercial and contract law and revenue recognition principles.
• Knowledge of legal issues specific to the Server/Storage/Cloud Computing industry is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, professional maturity and the ability to exercise sound judgment with a positive attitude.
• Ability to raise the appropriate questions to identify the issues and assist business partners in developing practical and creative solutions in a global organization with multiple functions.
• Capacity to thrive in a cross-functional and strong team environment with confidence and flexibility to perform in growing environment.
