The
Skyworks Taipei WiFi Platform Development Center
is seeking a
Co-Op intern
with a background in RF and wireless communication. Ideal candidates should have experience using a network analyzer and spectrum analyzer, basic knowledge of Python and Excel VBA, and strong skills in board rework using a soldering station.

During this internship, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the development of cutting-edge WiFi platforms (WiFi 7/WiFi 8) over the coming years. You'll collaborate with our Asian Applications team to help develop new WiFi standards—an invaluable experience for anyone aspiring to become an RF engineer.

Responsibilities
Key Areas of Contributions in this Role:

  • Assist the Taiwan Application Engineering team to support customer solution.
  • Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment. Validate technical details of specific use-case scenarios.
  • Debug, test, document and share results of enhanced features in existing or future products.
  • Develop/Modify the database analysis program in Python or VBA based.

Required Experience And Skills
Preferred Education, Experience & Capabilities:

  • Working toward undergraduate or master's degree in Microwave, Electrical, or systems design engineering. (Preferably, the candidate will be on his/her last year of college during the internship)
  • Course work in microwave RF design, Wireless communication and circuit board design.
  • Knowledge of software programming tools (Python or VBA).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Must be comfortable working on challenging problems while being capable of prioritizing and organizing tasks.
  • Positive attitude with strong desire for customer and team success to maintain our winning culture.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
