- 8 years of experience in operations management (i.e. process improvement, operational reviews, optimizing workflows, etc.).
- 5 years of experience with software development building robust enterprise grade applications, data analytics, or AI/ML.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Knowledge of the consumer hardware product lifecycle, from design to manufacturing processes, and the related software systems, particularly within a cloud environment.
About the job
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.
As a Technical Solutions Consultant on this team, you will lead the implementation of a digital twin system for our consumer hardware product design and manufacturing processes, ensuring the successful adoption and utilization of this cutting-edge technology. You will help refine and grow system capabilities by driving continuous improvement to meet closed-loop quality manufacturing needs.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources, ensuring the cloud environment adheres to best practices and company security guidelines.
- Implement new emerging technologies from various fields, including information retrieval, distributed computing, enterprise scale system design, AI, NLP, and UI design.
- Design and develop application architectural patterns, micro-services, event-driven frameworks, etc.
- Author and review technical documents, including design and development. Participate in collaborative design and code reviews.
- Drive solution code development in collaboration with internal or external developers, users, partners, clients, and other stakeholders as needed.
