Job Summary:

As a global leader in networking solution innovation, Super Micro Computer's mission is to develop and provide the market with end-to end computing solution and high performance networking products. We have an immediate need for a Hardware Design Engineer to join our talented and bright design team. The candidate will play a key role in the development process of in-house server motherboards, by working collaboratively with cross-functional engineering team as well as outside partners to ensure the robust design of the boards. The candidate must be self-motivated and possess a strong will to do great things, with a result-driven mindset to develop the most competitive and endurance board products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate possible Hardware design and Layout placement to minimize total BOM cost and design risk.

2. Schematic capture design / review, Layout check and BOM creation / review.

3. Complete the new project independently or in cooperation.

4. Help / Work with team members to research, analyze and recommend in new project.

5. Transfer products to manufacturing with clear documentation and help C.M. solve problems by technical support.

6. Project maintenance.

Qualifications:

1. BSEE or MSEE, with 5+ years of hardware design hands-on experience is better.

2. EE of Junior college background, with 5+ years of hardware design hands-on experience is better.

3. Knowledge and experience for EMI and ESD design.

4. Communication in English and Chinese.

5. Deeply familiar with x86 system architecture.

6. Well known the knowledge of Allegro & ORCAD design tool.

7. Wide Knowledge of system debug skill.

8. Experienced in UP / DP mother board hardware design.

9. Self-motivated, team player with ability to work in fast-paced environment.

10. Hardworking and responsible.
