Description
  • Support underwriters in evaluating and processing new and renewal submissions for casualty insurance products.
  • Gather, review, and analyze client information, loss histories, and risk data.
  • Prepare underwriting files, documentation, and quotes for review by senior underwriters.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in underwriting and policy management systems.
  • Assist with preparing proposals, binders, and policy documents for clients and brokers.
  • Communicate with brokers, clients, and internal teams to obtain missing information and clarify details.
  • Monitor and track outstanding items, endorsements, and renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and underwriting systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in insurance or underwriting support (preferred).
