You will be the support and technical expert responsible for the success of Cisco Meraki manufacturing strategy. This is a cross-functional and dynamic role, where you will collaborate with various teams including Engineering, Support, and external parties. As a trusted advisor and executor, you will be a part of a fun and dynamic team constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in Dashboard manufacturing-related activities, serving as the go-to expert for troubleshooting and ensuring seamless operations.
- Collaborate closely with the Meraki SF/Taiwan/Sydney teams, multiple Joint Development Manufacturers (JDMs) and Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to ensure the highest quality standards and adherence to engineering specifications.
- Act as the recognized authority on Cisco Meraki technologies, offering guidance and support to all teams at the CMs & JDMs and contributing to technology roadmaps.
- Lead efforts to align compliance and manufacturing timelines for both new product platforms and existing lines, optimizing efficiency and quality.
- Support existing structure for issue and bug tracking, working closely with software engineering teams to ensure timely resolution and continuous process improvement.
- Serve as a key liaison between CMs, JDMs, project managers, and engineering teams, validating and actively participating in the resolution of complex manufacturing-related issues and escalations.
- Take ownership of authoring and regularly updating comprehensive internal documentation covering various manufacturing lines, products, and processes.
- Be prepared for frequent domestic and international travel (up to 35% of the time) to provide on-site support for critical projects, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience with a strong background in troubleshooting complex issues and implementing enterprise networking technologies.
- Proven experience working closely with manufacturing partners and engineering teams across multiple time zones to support manufacturing lines.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple external partners effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts and convey them effectively to various stakeholders.
Bonus
- 2+ years of experience in performing manufacturing support. Familiarity with Meraki Dashboard is very desirable.
- Solid working knowledge of networking technologies and fundamentals to provide comprehensive technical support.
- Familiarity with manufacturing process stages (EVT, DVT, PVT, MP) and a track record of successfully navigating each phase.
