The Position
The Senior Market Access Manager will lead patient centred, public health oriented market access strategies to ensure timely, equitable, and sustainable access to Novo Nordisk treatments across reimbursement and self pay channels in Taiwan. This role integrates access strategy, pricing, HEOR evidence generation, and policy engagement to remove barriers to treatment and improve patient access to innovative therapies.
The incumbent will develop and execute pricing and reimbursement plans and prepare value dossiers and submissions that clearly articulate patient benefit, system value, and public health impact; negotiate with payers to secure fair reimbursement and access pathways; and engage key opinion leaders and medical associations to align strategies with patient and public health priorities.
The role will drive launch readiness by coordinating cross functional efforts, implement post launch lifecycle plans (including reimbursement scope expansions and post listing follow ups), and lead price governance to ensure a sustainable product lifecycle and continued patient access.
- Lead pricing, reimbursement, and access planning, integrating self-pay market access and pricing into the overall strategy.
- Lead preparation and submission of value dossiers, budget impact analyses, and other reimbursement documentation required by the payer.
- Design and oversee HEOR plans and real‑world evidence generation to support value propositions tailored to Taiwan's healthcare system.
- Lead key stakeholder engagement and communication to escort the case through the full review and appraisal process, and negotiate with payers on pricing, reimbursement scope, and agreement terms to reflect the value of the innovation.
- Monitor policy, regulatory, and payer landscape changes (e.g., NHI rules, HTA requirements, risk‑sharing schemes); translate insights into access and business implications and recommend mitigation and advocacy strategies.
- Support advocacy and policy initiatives to help shape a sustainable, patient-centered access environment.
- Implement and oversee price governance frameworks for company products, including securing internal price approvals through business cases, forecasting price adjustments, and managing post‑listing price reviews and controls.

- Lead and develop the market access team, mentoring junior staff to build capability, drive performance, and ensure successful execution of access plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree in life sciences, public health, health economics, pharmacy, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 6+ years' experience in market access, pricing & reimbursement, HEOR, within the pharmaceutical industry in Taiwan.
- Demonstrated experience with Taiwan NHI processes, coverage submissions, pricing negotiations, and reimbursement decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of health economic modelling, budget impact analysis, real‑world evidence generation (nice-to-have), and value dossier preparation.
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills with government agencies, payers, reviewers, and KOLs in Taiwan.
- Excellent project management, strategic thinking, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical judgment and problem-solving skills. High ownership, resilience, and accountability mindset
- Excellent communication skills in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) and English.
